Asbury Splash Park

Address:

950 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712

The Asbury Park Splash Park is a must-visit destination for families and children who are looking for a fun-filled day in the water. Conveniently located on the iconic Asbury Park Boardwalk, this colorful water playground provides hours of entertainment and is a refreshing way to beat the summer heat, without having to deal with any sand!

The gated park is a sprawling oasis that features a wide range of oversized garden themed water features that is ideal for kids from 18 months to 12 years to play in, including a giant spray hose, sprinklers, water guns, watering cans, and the famous tipping teacup. Children wait in anticipation under the tea cup as it slowly fills up and then eventually overflows, drenching the expectant children below.

All of the attractions are spaced out enough that the park never feels too crowded and there is plenty of space for kids to run, splash, and play around in the park. There are also several seating areas for parents and guardians to relax and keep an eye on their children. The park also offers clean bathrooms for all visitors.

Children can bring their own water guns and buckets to fill up and play in the water with. Visitors are also allowed to bring in outside food and drink items. Feel free to bring in a packed cooler with lunch and drinks or grab a snack from any of the restaurants on the boardwalk. Plan to bring towels, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated, but anything forgotten at home or the hotel can also be easily bought at the gift store attached to the Splash Park.

With the convenience of an all day pass and being right on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, families can jump in and out of the park and also enjoy the many shops and restaurants located on the boardwalk. After several hours of fun at Asbury Park Splash Park, families can get a little competitive at the Asbury Eighteen Mini Golf attraction just a short walk from the splash park. The splash park often offers combo passes for both attractions.
